Group Calendars with global free-busy times and Microsoft Exchange interoperability to ensure your colleagues can plan efficiently. Personal calendars also have the same shared functionality. Notifications and reminders can be sent via SMS or email. Zimbra also comes pre-installed with a WebEx Zimlet that allows users to save a Calendar meeting also as a WebEx meeting without having to ever login to WebEx. Zimbra does the work automatically and provides the dial-in information and WebEx URL to peers who receive the Zimbra meeting invite.
Sharing and Document Management is made easy with the ability to share files and folders throughout the organization and manage workflow in email through Tasks.
Over-the-air sync to iPhone, BlackBerry, Android or any mobile web browser allows you to offer increased mobility throughout your organization, enabling and empowering teleworkers.
Desktop Sync allows “work offline” mode with any email client like Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird or Zimbra Desktop. Zimbra Desktop aggregates information across accounts (Zimbra, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) and social networks (Facebook, Digg, Twitter, etc.) to help make communicating and sharing information easier than ever.
Comprehensive anti-spam and anti-virus filtering ensures your organization is protected from viruses and unsolicited email.
Industry leading storage quota of 7GB per user.
Backup and DR/Restore allows you to enjoy complete protection with a combination of full and incremental backups of all data stored within Zimbra for a 28-day retention period. Additionally, users can self-restore previously deleted data, reducing IT helpdesk requests.
Zimlets Zimbra’s open standards and technologies provide the flexibility to integrate new applications as “tabs” or mash-ups in the user experience (such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Facebook or your internal back-office systems like Oracle). These “Zimlets” are embeddable directly within the Zimbra web client, enabling your organization to do more and create custom workflows without opening another application.

BES – Blackberry Enterprise Server
Zimbra Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server (ZCB) provides seamless, real-time synchronization of Zimbra user mailbox data to BlackBerry devices. This solution allows BlackBerry users to access Zimbra with the native BlackBerry applications for mail, calendar & address book and enables Zimbra Administrators to manage BlackBerry usage from BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES).
