At the Movies! FCoE - Data Centre Event.

Join us on August 7th for an engaging look at the future of your data center and how unified wire and the converged network will provide for flexible, high performance, and easy to deploy solutions at a lower total cost of ownership.

The Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocol enables FC customers to take advantage of a converged data center network using Lossless Ethernet. The iSCSI protocol (SCSI over TCP/IP) is the foundation for many IP storage solutions and another approach to converged data center networking. We will illustrate the components for both technologies and covers some of the core concepts of their uses as storage technologies.

After this session you will be able to:
  1. Describe FCoE and iSCSI and how they fit into existing storage and networking infrastructures.
  2. Compare and contrast the structure and functionality of the FCoE and iSCSI protocol stacks.
  3. Understand how FCoE and iSCSI solutions provide storage networking options for Ethernet, including 10 Gb Ethernet.
