Scalar Decisions Announces Strategic Partnership with Tadpole to enhance their Thin Client Offering

Toronto, Canada, September 5, 2004 – Scalar Decisions is pleased to announce a close partnership with Tadpole Computer to promote and sell their Comet ultra-thin client notebooks based on the Sun Ray technology.

“Sun Ray technology together with Windows Terminal Services, Citrix, Tarantella or RDP software provides a secure, robust and manageable Microsoft Windows environment. ” said Roger Singh, VP Technology, Scalar Decisions. “Now with the addition of the Tadpole Comet Notebook users are no longer tethered and remain completely stateless.”

Sun Ray thin clients provide customers with an interoperable desktop computing solution that reduces the maintenance, upgrade, and operational costs associated with most "fat" client environments. The stateless nature of Sun Ray thin clients allows for complete session mobility, improves workflow, and helps ensure the protection of data.

“Customers today are demanding far more from their IT investments, Sun Ray functionality together with the benefits provided through increased security and reduced maintenance exceed the expectations of the most demanding users.” said Mac Brown, VP Sales Tadpole Computers. “The team at Scalar Decisions brings it all together – architecture to management – ensuring project success.”

Through aggressive onsite analysis and customer consultation, Scalar Decisions is poised to deliver alternative IT environments and solutions that will result in substantial savings, IT productivity and efficiencies for all our customers. IT environments of tomorrow are predicted to see dramatic improvements in optimization and performance, as a result of the Scalar Decisions with Thin Client Computing.
